PoE (Power over Ethernet)

Power over Ethernet (PoE, IEEE 802.3af standard) makes cameras get power and data simultaneously from a PoE-enabled switch or midspan

over the same network cable. The benefits provided by PoE include reduced installation costs and flexibility in camera placement. Besides,

cameras can also have backup power from central server room to prevent the down time due to power failure.

For example:

SP6008PWS, 8-Port Web Smart PoE Switch ,

provides 8 full power (15.4W max.) Ethernet ports.

It transmits the data and feeds power thru standard Ethernet cable

to the PoE embedded IP cameras.

Outdoor Wireless Product

Micronet Outdoor Wireless products can makes IP cameras present in the environments which physical network cable can not be implemented,

especially in long distance outdoor places. By connecting to outdoor camera and wireless AP, the data transmission distance can reach up to

3~5km with different kinds of antenna.

For example:

SP915A plus antenna to connect outdoor IP cameras,

making wireless transmission distance up to 5km.

VDSL and VDSL Power Extender

VDSL technology can deliver the data even power thru existing traditional phone line (Twisted Pair). This technology eliminates the 100meters

distance limitation of network cable. Depending on various bandwidth requirement, VDSL can reach up to 300 meters ~ 1.9km and deliver power

up to 500 meters ~1km.

For example:

SP3051AM/BM, VDSL/VDSL CO Modem,

connects to SP3501AS/BS, VDSL/VDSL CPE Modem,

thru existing phone line infrastructure to offer

network bandwidth. SP3500M, PoVDSL CO Modem,

delivers both network data and power thru phone line

to SP3500S, PoVDSL CPE Modem.
